Harford County Executive David Craig endorses Jim Rutledge
Republican leaders in Harford County support Jim Rutledge
FOREST HILL, Maryland - Harford County Executive David Craig endorsed U.S. Senate Candidate Jim Rutledge in Bel Air last evening at the Dark Horse Saloon. Republican leader David Craig has a distinguished record of service to the citizens of Harford County as a teacher, Mayor of Havre de Grace, State Delegate, and State Senator before his election as Harford County Executive.
Harford County Tea Party leader Patrick McGrady introduced David Craig, pointing out that in the midst of hard times, Harford County has cut taxes and secured a triple A bond rating.
Jim Rutledge said, "I am thankful for the endorsement of my County Executive David Craig. We both have deep Maryland roots. We share a love for Maryland and a confidence that the answers to our challenges will come from individual innovation and economic freedom, and not from an out of control federal government."
Appearing at 8 US Senate forums and debates across the state, Jim Rutledge has demonstrated the courage to face the public and not hide like Barbara Mikulski. Jim Rutledge says, "In these perilous times hiding from public scrutiny and shrinking from debates are not the qualities Maryland needs in its next United States Senator."
The Rutledge campaign to defeat Barbara Mikulski continues to build momentum as republicans, conservative democrats, and independents connect with Jim Rutledge's message of lower taxes, limited federal government, and strong national security.
